Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 21, 2026
Welcome
By browsing or purchasing from Salt & Drift ("we," "us"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they cover our handmade goods, orders, shipping, and how we handle information you share with us.
Handmade goods
Every piece is made or finished by hand in small batches. Natural materials like shells, driftwood, and stones vary in color, size, and shape — small variations from the photos are part of the character of each piece, not a defect.
Orders & payment
Checkout, payment processing, and order fulfillment are handled through our Shopify storefront. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. We reserve the right to cancel or refund any order at our discretion, including for pricing errors or items no longer available.
Shipping
Orders ship from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Shipping options, rates, and delivery estimates appear at checkout. Once a package leaves our hands, we can't control carrier delays but we'll do our best to help track it down.
Returns
Because each piece is handmade in small batches, returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. If your order arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right.
Reviews & user content
When you submit a review or inquiry, you grant us permission to display your name and comments on the site. Please keep submissions honest, on topic, and respectful — we may edit or remove content that is abusive, misleading, or off topic.
Intellectual property
All photos, text, and artwork on this site belong to Salt & Drift unless otherwise credited. Please don't reproduce them for commercial use without our written permission.
Privacy
We only collect the information needed to fulfill your order, respond to inquiries, and improve the shop. We don't sell your information. Payment details are handled by Shopify and never stored on our servers.
Limitation of liability
Salt & Drift's total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that item. We are not responsible for indirect or incidental damages to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent version.
